Athletics 2014

I feel really really excited about athletics because its going to be the first time I`m going to have a real good one.  I want to achieve to run a bit faster then the last time and my favourite event is running to go go go!!! I can`t wait!!!

Athletics

My favourite activity is running and I`m getting good at it because I am learning how to run fast. When we are doing relay running i have learned to tag and run and tag and run on and on again.

Healthy eating

Long Jump

I can do Long Jump. To do Long Jump I need to run then I need to put one foot

in-front then I Jump and land on two feet bending forward, arms in-front to

keep my balance and my knees bent.

My Teacher

I love my teacher. Isn't she always the best. She always teaches you things and she

always lets you have time on the computer to do our work.

I love my teacher and so does my class.

Planes

My Plane that goes ford is called thrust

My Plane that is going backwoods is drag.

My Plane that can go up is gravity.

My Plane that is going up is lift.

Swimming

At swimming I got taught how to swim.

I was in the warm pool. It was warm like Milo but I had to focus otherwise I would go off track and then I Jumped out off the pool and Barbra, Grace and Chris told us whose group we were going to be in.

We practiced then we got free time then I went up to Nicholas and he 

jumped on a board and I tipped him off then we did it again, again and again. 

it was so funny he could hardly breath under  

water. I was so puffed from laughing!!!

Cross Country

I feel nervous because there will be lots of parents at Cross Country.I zoom past the wind I am running as fast as a greyhound and a cheater. I am so so so running super fast NOW!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

This morning I went to tennis my coach`s name is Sid.  I was good at tennis.                         

I LOVE SCHOOL SO MUCH

Hi I wondered if you love school. School really is a blast but we really need to work harder for our teacher so we can have a really good school year.We learn lots we play on the playground every day but some of us need to work harder for our teacher I hope you work hard at school make your teacher happy have a creative school year. 

Paper Planes

The Paper Plane has to have a strong wind behind it to fly high in the sky. You have to hold on to the bottom to fly it. It goes in circles.  It goes very fast. It was curving and flying. It does loopy loops. It does funny lands. The Paper Plane goes over a wall.

Writing Reflection

Kapa Haka

On Thursdays the Kapa Haka group comes to the hall to practice singing maori songs. We take about half an hour. 

Shapes

Room 7 has been learning about shapes. I have learnt about polygons polygons are 2D shapes. 3D shapes have edges, vertices and sides.Here are some shapes cuboid, cube, triangular prism and cylinder.

What do you know about shapes?

My Mask Reflection

We made masks to represent ourselves. I enjoyed making the masks because I like creative things. I put kitty paws on my mask because I like kittens.And a Kapa Haka band to show I`m part Maori. Next time I will put music notes.

Pop art

Hi I'm Masyn. My class has been doing pop art. This is my pop art. First we started with the face and neck then we did the hair after we dyed the backround a different colour when we dyed it we had see that there was no white on the edges. Then the year 4 leaders cut out our names.Then everyone went home.Then on Monday there was Only one of the pictures up there.Then Mrs Natusch put more pictures up on the wall.

Growing crystals

Yesterday we grew crystals.

First we got a cup and a iceblock stick and a piece of string and tied the string to the iceblock stick. 

Then Mrs Natusch put the sugar solution in our cups and we put the cups up by the window.

Tennis

This morning I played tennis my coach`s name is Sid.Anthony was my buddy I was trowing the ball and hitting the ball with the tennis racket.

Waitomo caves

Yesterday I went to the Waitomo Caves. I saw glow worms at the end. I also felt cold  inside the caves when I was on the boat.We went on a bus. The bus was a fast bus and some parents came with us to the caves, museum, morning tea, lesson, lunch and bush walk.

The Bright Light

One night I was walking in the forest and all of a sudden I saw a bright light shining at me. I saw a house flying with pixey dust under the house. I also saw people walking on a bridge. It was a party.
