Reflection on the Wacky Olympics

On Friday the 19 August 2016 room 14 and the Senior Syndicate went out for a day of sports-man-ship to celebrate the Vardon Wacky Olympics. The Senior Syndicate teachers had thought of one sport for each person that can take part in. My favourite sport was the paper-plate-discus, Miss Woolf was coaching this sport. To play you had a paper-plate and you were meant to throw it like a frizzbee.There was also coin-toss, wheel-bourow-racing, and straw-javelin.

Clay sculpture reflection

My sculpture is of three heads that are girls on a stand.

The title of my sculpture is 'the three sisters' and the message is that my sisters are kind and they make me feel special.

The easiest part was to push on when you are squashing it down.

The most difficult part was that you have to use slip to stick it on another piece of clay.

My Poetry

Once I went to go and play, I sat on a bail of hay, while my dad was inside yelling harray, harray, harray! I told my mum what I did and then she started having a hisy fit, because I was being a little twit.

My scorpion sting reflection

Flox artwork reflection

1. We got 6 different colours that were light and 3 colours that were dark. We used stencils to make the shape and used a sponge to paint or dab it, and then to sharpie around it.

2. To cut the circle around to make the base circle.

3. To hold the stencils still and to stop mixing the colours on the piece of artwork.

4. The silver fern and the flax because for the flax we had just one little flax.

5. The kiwi and the Kowhai flowers because the flowers were really piled on with yellow paint, and the kiwi got smudged.

fishy friends

I like going in the ocean finding all of the beautiful coloured fish. They are big fish and small fish on their body they have scales. They swim really fast I try to catch the fish but I only catch the slowest one. I have some 

fishy friends that are mermaids. They come along with me to catch the fish because they are much faster than fish.

Production

I am in the Phillipines South East Asian group. I had lots of fun on making my own cambodian puppet. What we did was we had to find out what animals were in cambodia to put it on some miterial and then you have to draw the animals with white chalk. For the other puppet people they needed aet and a partner. My partner was Kaleiah we also had hats they were shaped like cones. First two people come on than they go to the side by Axel then another two come on then they go to the side then another go on and then they go to the side. After that they close the sheet and hand it to Mrs Scott and the puppets and I come across the stage and show what their puppets are up close.

Term 2

This term we have been learning about report writing,bridge`s,strength and position. My favourite part`s were writing about paper helicopter`s and writing about being blind folded and feeling disgusting thing`s. The paper helicopter`s were fun! they spun around and around like a spinning black fan. And the blind fold one was ok we had to put our hand wearing a blind folded the first one was dry and it felt little like baby egg`s. The second one was easy because it had sauce and it felt like worm`s it was spaghetti. There was also two more left.There was a container with paste in it. I thought it was glue.

I am funny and I have a cheerful laugh.

I love chocolate pudding and my friend`s and family.

I feel nervous and like I want to play.

I wonder if there is a double me in this world.

Who fear to be Jumped by a fright.

Who would like to ride a rocket to the moon.

Who is able to reach to the highest shelf.

cheaters are one of the fastest animals in the world the chase after lots of animals even dears. They protect their babies so they don`t escape or get hurt from the other animals.they stay close to the mother

Athletics 2014

I feel really really excited about athletics because its going to be the first time I`m going to have a real good one.  I want to achieve to run a bit faster then the last time and my favourite event is running to go go go!!! I can`t wait!!!

Athletics

My favourite activity is running and I`m getting good at it because I am learning how to run fast. When we are doing relay running i have learned to tag and run and tag and run on and on again.

I can do Long Jump. To do Long Jump I need to run then I need to put one foot

in-front then I Jump and land on two feet bending forward, arms in-front to

keep my balance and my knees bent.
